Her extensive experience includes roles as Chief Academic Officer at Savannah Technical College and leadership positions across Georgia's technical and community colleges, where she pioneered curriculum innovations, quality assurance for online learning, and faculty development initiatives.

A dedicated advocate for literacy and educational advancement, Dr. Morris has led collaborative projects like the READ Savannah initiative, partnering with community leaders to promote literacy in underserved areas. Dr. Morris avidly supports local initiatives to empower marginalized and underrepresented communities. A true South Georgia native, Dr. Morris enjoys the outdoors, particularly relaxing days at the beach, bowling, and spending quality time with her family.
